Sermon in a sentence:  We serve a sending God!

Three reasons that it is a puzzle that more churches are not "going" churches—

#1  God commands His people to go—verses 1-3a.

#2  God equips His people to go—verses 3b-16.

• He arms us with faith

• He teaches us about trans-cultural courtesy

• He empowers us to help and to heal

• He prepares us for rejection

#3  God celebrates His people who go—verses 17-24.
