Five biblical observations about the afterlife drawn from Jesus' story in Luke chapter sixteen—

#1  God's people experience a protected transition from this life to the

       next—verse 22.

#2  All people are conscious after we die—verses 23-24.

#3  Some people suffer separation from God after they die—

       verses 23-26.   

#4  All people remember the life we left behind after we die—

       verses 27-28.   

#5  All people decide our destinations by the choices we make here and

       now—verses 29-31.
