Three ways this journey to Emmaus is an illustration of our journey to faith in the Resurrected Jesus—

#1  We encounter Him along our journey through life—verses 13-16.

#2  We explore the hope of the Gospel with Him—verses 17-29, 32.

#3  We experience Him  as our living Savior and eternal God—

       verses 30-35.
