The Seven Seal Judgments can be used to illustrate the types of calamities that will be sent upon the world at the end of this phase of history—

#1  The First Horseman—A Military Dictator—verses 1-2.

#2  The Second Horseman—War—verses 3-4.

#3  The Third Horseman—Famine—verses 5-6.

#4  The Fourth Horseman—Death—verses 7-8.

#5  The Fifth Seal—Genocide and Martyrdom—verses 9-11.

#6  The Sixth Seal—Natural Disasters on a Global Scale—verses 12-17.

#7  The Seventh Seal—Localized or specialized plagues and catastrophes— Revelation 8:1.

Application/implication:  Whether our world comes apart on a global or an individual scale—our only place of security is with Him.
